Michael P. Reid is a 2008 graduate of the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Reid attended the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, graduating in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In his last semester of law school, Mr. Reid studied at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, developing comparative papers on major issues in Canadian and U.S. Constitutional law and ethics in Alternative Dispute Resolution systems in both countries. After clerking for Bowles & Verna during the summer of 2007, Mr. Reid accepted a full time associate position and has been with the firm since receiving his Juris Doctor in 2008.

Mr. Reid is an associate whose practice centers on general civil litigation, construction law, intellectual property and personal injury.

Mr. Reid is a member of the State Bar of California, the State Bar of Arizona, the District of Columbia Bar; He holds memberships in the American Bar Association and Contra Costa Bar Association; Mr. Reid is admitted to practice in all California state and federal courts as well as all Arizona state courts and D.C. courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Mike Reid is originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He graduated from St. Francis High School in 2000, where he was a member of the varsity football and track teams. Mike played baseball after graduating from high school and now coaches baseball with Walnut Creek Pony League and CYO basketball in Walnut Creek. Along with coaching, Mike counts camping, skiing and traveling among his other interests. In January 2010, Mike married Victoria Hales, an administrator and teacher at the Oakland School for the Arts in Oakland, California.
